Seder 103 These are the generations…

Can followers of Yeshua overcome millennia of hurt and arrogance in order to rekindle a familial relationship with other descendants of Abraham? Throughout history, Judaism and Christianity—like Jacob and Esau—have rivaled one another, learned from one another, fought with one another, and perhaps even loved one another. Can we be loving brothers again? Numbers 3 provides the Seder reading, the Haftarah is from Isaiah 45:19-46:13, and the New Covenant Scripture is John 18:19-24, connected by the major link word, ‘speak’ (דבר), and minimally by Moshe (משה), Aharon (אהרן), and descendants (זרע).
