S 112 How Long Will You Doubt?
In the Seder (Numb 14:11-45) this week, the LORD God asks Moshe, “How long will this people (עם) despise (נאץ) me and not trust me? Especially considering all the signs (אותות) I have done (אשיתי) among them.” Naturally, Moshe has no idea (!), but rejects the offer to start over with him, and thus cements his legacy as a great servant of God. Other servants have fulfilled their roles, but no teachings have been so sublime and none have done the wonders of Yeshua of Nazareth (John 7:31), that great servant of the nation, the Messiah-King. If we believe the wonders, why does doubt creep in? Is there faithful life in the midst of doubt or are the two incompatible?Kyle A. Kettering
